Victoria Beckham has gone viral again – and perhaps not for a reason she’d hope. The former WAG and Spice Girls star, 52, attended the England vs. Norway World Cup quarter-final match with her husband, ex-footballer David, at the weekend. But while her husband was jumping out of his seat and punching his arms in the air to celebrate the England victory, Victoria stayed seated.
She didn’t look happy as everyone around her cheered and jumped – simply slumped in her seat wearing a pair of sunglasses, with one hand covering her mouth. In one snap, Victoria wasn’t even looking towards the pitch while her family lost it around her.
Someone else said: “You guys don't understand. It is improper for Lady Vic to shows her emotions in public, least of all to you commoners.”
“That seat really should have gone to someone who cared about the game!” a third echoed, while another said it was "as awful as expected".
But others rushed to defend her, with one tweeting: “Who gives a f*** what she likes. She’s there to support her family. Good for her for keeping it real.”
And another agreed: “Leave her alone. She's married to a football legend doesn't mean she loves the game. Heck, Becks might not have a Spice Girls song on his playlist.”
At the same match, David turned heads with his passionate rendition of the national anthem as he belted out God Save the King next to his wife.
