A "proud and devoted" dad was tragically found dead in a hotel room in a UK town, with his devastated wife paying an emotional tribute to him. Graham Smith, 42, died at the Queens Hotel in Cheltenham on June 11 this year. The dad-of-two, who was born in Preston, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

An inquest into Graham's death was opened and adjourned at Preston Coroners' Court on Thursday July 2, reports LancsLive. Senior Coroner Chris Long confirmed that the cause of death was consistent with Graham having sadly taken his own life. The court heard Graham worked as a strategic projects director. A final inquest will be held on October 27.
