The Met Office is forecasting rain to hit parts of the UK on Monday despite the fact that temperatures are set to soar, potentially bringing heatwave conditions.
However, while the southeast of England braces for these scorching conditions, Met Office maps suggest areas further north will get drenched on Monday.
The forecast shows all of Scotland facing rain with small pockets dodging the downpour.
Parts of northeast England could also see rain with wet conditions set to arrive in North Yorkshire at around 9am.
The Met Office's forecast for Monday says: "Rain persists across northern and northwestern Scotland.
"Cloudy at first across Northern Ireland and northern England with patchy drizzle. Elsewhere, sunny spells. Very warm and locally hot in the southeast."
