Interpol on Friday named the suspect in the Monaco bombing that reportedly targeted a Ukrainian tycoon with links to Russia.
It identified Anastasiia Berezovska, a 39-year-old woman from Ukraine, as the suspect in a Red Notice posted on its website seeking her arrest.
The Interpol notice says she has a tattoo, possibly of a snake, on her right arm from the shoulder to the elbow. She is thought to have dressed up as a man to plant the booby-trapped backpack, police believe. The 39-year-old has since been spotted in Germany, a source told Reuters.
According to a well-placed source, the suspect is a Ukrainian national living in Frankfurt, Germany, with known links to organised crime.
Three people were wounded on Monday evening in a parcel bomb explosion in the wealthy principality, which was believed to be an attack on a Ukrainian-born oligarch.
Prosecutor Stephane Thibault said earlier this week that woman who was in a life-threatening condition. The other victims include a who was no longer in a life-threatening condition and a child whose life was not in danger, he added.
