BBC Breakfast star Sally’s hair and make-up artist Gráinne Frawley has shared some of the major beauty hacks behind the star’s signature look with The Telegraph, explaining of her hair: “We change it all the time but rotate from a GHD wave (we call it The French) meant to be effortless and quite casual, to a fuller nineties Cindy Crawford-inspired bouncy wave.”
Her highlights are done by colourist Calum Tierney, who has also worked with the likes of Michelle Keegan.
When it comes to make-up, Frawley said: “Because Sally is a news presenter, our focus is always function first. The make-up has to look flawless under the studio lights and need very little touching up while she’s on air.”
