In it, Lisa said: “Hello from Aberdeenshire. When Gillian Anderson got a million followers, she was told she had to do a little dance, and I’ve just got to a million. Thank you, it’s pinch, pinch!” She jokingly pinched herself on the shoulder to check she wasn’t dreaming, before saying: “So here you go.”

Lisa went on to skip down the pavement, giving fans the dance they were after, before returning to the camera to say: “ Thank you! Can’t believe it. All of my funny little posts and everything else you seem to like, and I’ll keep on doing them.”

She added in her caption: “Thanks a MILLION!”

Fans rushed to support her, with one writing: “You’re an icon, Lisa.”

Somebody else said: “Congratulations and well deserved!”

While a third fan posted: “Congratulations Lisa soon you’ll be on 2 million for sure.”

Jeremy and Lisa have been dating in 2017. Despite nine years together, they have no intention of tying the knot, with Lisa admitting she doesn’t want to be “Mrs Clarkson”.

She said: “No thank you, I like Lisa Hogan.” Lisa added in 2022: “We’re at a stage where we are not going to have kids. I’m just happy pootling along. I think because of our age, it’s much easier. You go: 'God, is it you I end up with? OK, that’s it.’”
