
M25 drivers are facing traffic chaos following a serious crash that has resulted in "severe" delays of 90 minutes. Lanes 1, 2 and 3 (of 4) are closed on the UK's busiest motorway in Kent clockwise between junction 5 (Sevenoaks) and junction 6 (Godstone) following a colision that has seen a caravan overturn. There is seven miles of traffic on approach to the crash.
Motorway camera footage shows traffic at a complete standstill. Drivers impacted by the closure have been advised to allow extra journey time, as well as possibly re-routing or delaying their trips. National Highways wrote: "There are severe delays of 90 minutes on the M25 in Kent, clockwise between J5 and J6 due to a collision which has resulted in an overturned caravan. Lanes 1,2 and 3 (of 4) lanes are currently closed. National Highways Traffic Officers are dealing with traffic management. If this closure impacts on your planned route, please allow extra journey time. Plan ahead, you may wish to re-route or even delay your journey."
