This marks a major turn for the family, who moved to America in 2020, as Harry has previously always claimed his home country is too unsafe to bring his family too. However, it is believed that this is no longer the case, as the family of four are expected to make the trip across the pond together for the first time since 2022. The trip is for Harry to attend the "One Year To Go" events for the Invictus Games, which will be held in Birmingham in 2027.

It would be the first time the Duchess of Sussex brings her family to Prince Harry's home country in four years. The last time they visited was in 2022, once in the summer for Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee celebrations, and again in September, when the Sussex couple came back to attend her funeral.

It is believed Meghan will step out with her husband at the event in question, it is not known whether Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five, will.

Instead, they may be kept out the public eye and only join their parents on private outings during their time in their father’s home country.

A source told News.com.au that Harry, 41, reportedly hopes to "introduce the children to his wider family" and show them "where he grew up".

It is not known which royals Harry, Meghan and their children plan to meet, however it is likely King Charles could be one of them.

It is believed the King would be eager to see his grandchildren, who he has hardly seen in person since they Harry and Meghan quit royal life and moved to the US in 2020.

It is not known whether Harry has tried to make plans to meet his estranged brother Prince William.
