A young woman has reportedly been raped in Nottingham's city centre as police launch an investigation.
Lace Market Square in the city has been taped off after the incident, which police say took place in the early hours of Saturday morning (June 13).
Police have also set up a cordon along Adams Walk leading up to Fletcher Gate.
The victim is being supported by officers.
A Nottinghamshire Police spokesperson said: "We were called at 2.46am on Saturday to the Adams Walk area of Nottingham city centre after reports that a young woman had been raped.
"She is being supported by officers and investigations are ongoing."
