An ITV star has been rearrested by the Metropolitan Police on suspicion of perverting the course of justice. The man, in his 20s, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, was previously arrested at Gatwick Airport in November 2025 on suspicion of sexual assault, stalking and coercive control.

The former Love Island contestant was reportedly re-arrested at his home for allegedly attempting to contact the woman who made the allegations against him. The man has been released on bail while the Metropolitan Police continue their investigation.

A spokesperson for The Metropolitan Police said: "A man in his 20s has been arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice. The arrest relates to an ongoing investigation into allegations of sexual assault, stalking, criminal damage and assault. He was arrested at an address on Monday, April 27 and bailed pending further enquiries."

Last year, the man was released on bail pending further enquiries following his arrest after landing at Gatwick Airport in the United Kingdom on November 27.

An investigation was launched 12 days before his arrest. The TV personality is also accused of assault by beating, causing criminal damage and making threats of revenge porn against the alleged victim.

A Met Police spokesperson said at the time: "A 29-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of multiple offences, including sexual assault, stalking, criminal damage and assault as part of an ongoing investigation by Met Police officers.

"Met Police launched an investigation on Saturday, 15 November and arrested a man at Gatwick Airport on Thursday, 27 November. He has since been bailed pending further enquiries. A woman has been offered specialist support by officers."

It has been confirmed that the man did not appear on the 2025 series of Love Island or the one currently airing on ITV2.
