An insider has revealed why "no one wants to hang out" with Meghan Markle amid claims that she has fallen out with former celebrity friends - or that the friendships were not all they appeared to be. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were previously thought to share close friendships with the likes of George and Amal Clooney, David Beckham and Oprah Winfrey.
As reported by the Daily Mail, the insider claims that Meghan and Harry "love famous people" and that they are "very name-droppy". Sharing why it appears no one wants to associate with Meghan, one insider added that they believe the reason is due their own fears of her "using their name" for her own benefit.
Well-connected broadcaster and former Page Six columnist Paula Froelich, of NewsNation, told the Mail: "No one wants to hang out with Meghan. Lots of reasons, but she might sell clothes while using their name". This is in reference to Meghan’s latest venture where she promotes her outfits through a fashion app that gives her a 10 percent cut of the sales generated.
An insider also revealed to the publication Harry and Meghan don't believe that any of the cooling of friendhsips could be their fault. They said: "They don’t get it. They never think it is them."
