Tyson Fury's daughter Venezuela, 16, tied the knot with Noah Price on Saturday (May 16), and her dad joined her to be supporting for his daughter's exciting new life with her husband, who is also a boxer. And while Tyson may have given his daughter away, he spent years prior to that giving her strict rules to follow. Noah had asked for Tyson's blessing and ultimately it was granted while they were filming for Netflix's At Home With The Furys. Noah popped the question at Venezuela's 16th birthday party, and then their wedding rolled around very soon after.
But it may have come as a shock for Tyson to agree to the nuptials, with his 16-year-old daughter admitting on the show that her dad has always been "very strict", though she noted the pair get on incredibly well. Speaking openly on the Netflix show, she explained the rules he put in place for her.
She said: "I get on well with my dad, but he's very strict. He doesn't like me wearing make-up and looking nice." It was also noted that he had banned short skirts, heavy makeup and limited how long her nails could be. She went on to explain that there was on occasion her dad went "mental" when she wore a dress that he believed was too short to a party she attended with her mother.
Venezuela said: "Mum, being the fool that she is, sent him a photo saying 'me and Venezuela are off to a party,' with a photo of me and her, and he went 'she looks like this, she looks like that'. He went mental." Paris then explained that when their daughter was younger she could do "what she wants" but all the rules changed once she turned 12.
When Tyson spoke of his strict rules, he maintained his stance and said while they live in his home and he pays for them, they have to put up with his strict rules. He added: "The moment they leave home, they can do exactly what they want when they're adults, can't they? That's just how the cookie crumbles."
And now it's expected that Venezuela will be leaving the family home to live with her husband, who told Tyson he was "one million percent" in. While Tyson originally felt it was "a bit soon", he still ended up giving him his blessing. Speaking on it after, Venezuela said that the proposal was "probably one of the best moments" of her life and the now-married couple have been appearing incredibly loved-up at the various events they've attended together.
