The business, based in Mildenhall, is facing a winding-up petition brought by British Gas Trading Limited, which was issued on March 30, 2026.

The company, registered at Unit A, 82 James Carter Road, Mildenhall, will have the petition to wind up heard at Liverpool Civil and Family Court on Tuesday, May 5.

The meat supplier has been trading since 2016.

The Petitioner's Solicitor is Sian Phillips, Womble Bond Dickinson LLP.

A Winding Up Petition compels a company into compulsory liquidation as a result of unpaid debts.

The move to cease operations comes as the UK agricultural sector endures considerable financial hardship.

Within the meat industry, forecasts suggest that more than a third of UK farms could fold within the next five years owing to changes made to inheritance tax (IHT).

The ongoing conflict in the Middle East has also heightened concern amongst farmers, as rising energy costs threaten to affect stock levels.
