A senior royal is set to take a trip abroad next month with her husband. Princess Anne, 75, will jet off for five days to Korea and Thailand for her next royal tour.

The tour will begin on July 13, when she will visit The Republic of Korea with her husband Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence. The couple will stay here until July 15. During this time, a number of engagements will be carried out by the royal, all of which will celebrate the strength of the UK–Republic of Korea relationship.

This will include commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Imjin River and honouring the sacrifice of British soldiers who fought during the Korean War.

The royal will then move onto Thailand, where she will stay from July 16 to July 17.

Anne will be very busy during this time, and will include a visit to a local school in Bangkok supported by Save the Children Thailand.

She will also have an audience with the Thai Prime Minister and Their Majesties The King and Queen.

The royal tour will not be the first time Princess Anne, the King’s sister, will have visited Korea and Thailand.

The Princess Royal had previously visited The Republic of Korea in 2018 for the Winter Olympics.

She has also visited Thailand a few times beforehand, including one visit with her parents the late Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.
