The Only Way Is Essex star Jake Hall had tragically died after a night of partying at a Spanish holiday villa. The 35-year-old, who shared a daughter with model Misse Beqiri, was found dead with head injuries on Wednesday morning (May 6) in Santa Margalida, Majorca.

Initial police investigations stated that the reality star "died in a tragic accident after hitting his head against the glass door", but a police source said it is still too early to say definitely what happened. According to GB News, sources close to the investigation said that while Hall suffered multiple wounds, emergency responders identified the thorax injury as the "most traumatic and likely cause of death".

A Civil Guard spokesman stated: "There is nothing pointing to it being the result of a crime at this stage."

Four men and two women who were staying at the villa are thought to have been questioned, but no arrests have been made as inquiries continue and an autopsy is due to take place in Palma, the Majorcan capital. The results will then be sent to an investigating judge and not publicly released.

However, the post-mortem alone will provide only partial answers, and tissue samples will be dispatched to a specialist laboratory on the Spanish mainland for further analysis.

Hours before he died, he shared a last post on Instagram, vowing to “remember the good things”. Set to the Rolling Stones’ classic Beast of Burden, it showed him enjoying painting, Spanish scenery and fashion. It was captioned: “Life is bollocks sometimes, but I’m gonna try remember the good things – ️looking through things – I’m just making art – in many forms.”

Hall left behind his eight-year-old daughter, River. Tributes poured in as celebrities paid tribute to Hall on social media. Model and influencer Roxie Nafousi wrote: "Jake, you were such a sweet soul. I always loved our catch-ups. I know things weren't always easy for you, but you never gave up, and you really loved your little girl more than anything in the world. This is so devastating. Keep dancing up in heaven. Rest in peace."

He also represented clubs, including Grays Athletic and Boston United, throughout his football career, and both have expressed their condolences in the wake of the heartbreaking news.

"Grays Athletic are deeply saddened to receive the news that former player Jake Hall has tragically died while on holiday in Majorca," his former club said.

"The club would like to send its heartfelt condolences to Jake's family and friends at this very difficult time. RIP Jake."

Boston United added: "RIP Jake. You were only with us a short time, but your presence shone the spotlight on the club. We will always remember that goal against Tamworth. Our thoughts go out to your family and friends."
