Chilling new details have emerged surrounding the deeply disturbing manner in which singer D4vd allegedly mutilated a 14 year old girl using a chainsaw.

The performer, whose real name is David Burke, is appearing in court facing charges of murdering Celeste Rivas.

Prosecutors allege he arranged an Uber to transport Rivas from her family home in Lake Elsinore to his Hollywood Hills residence on the night of 23rd April 2025.

Prosecutors further claim he then stabbed her to death and stood by as she bled out.

According to court documents, Burke allegedly ordered a shovel from Home Depot the following day via Postmates, reports the Mirror.

Approximately a week later, he ordered two chainsaws from Amazon, and on 5th May he allegedly purchased a body bag, heavy-duty laundry bags and a blue inflatable pool.

The documents allege that Burke made these purchases under the false name of Victoria Mendez.

Investigators informed the court that from there he "took horrifying measures to destroy and discard the victim's body."

He allegedly placed Rivas' body into the blue inflatable pool to prevent her blood from soiling his garage floor, before using the chainsaw to sever her limbs, according to the documents.

Plastic fragments embedded in Rivas' remains were found to match those from the pool purchased by Burke on Amazon, investigators stated.

The singer also allegedly removed Rivas' left ring and little fingers, as her ring finger bore a tattoo of his name, according to the documents. These fingers have not been recovered.

In September 2025, police "discovered evidence consistent with the dismemberment of the victim's body in the inflatable pool, which contained multiple linear cuts. Several biological samples, which tested positive for blood, were collected within the garage area," and subsequently executed a search warrant at Burke's home.

Investigators uncovered DNA that matched Rivas.

Court documents allege that Burke and Rivas engaged in a "lengthy argument" via text message the evening before the alleged murder, stemming from her jealousy over Burke's involvement with other women.

"She became extremely upset and threatened to disclose damning information about her relationship with defendant to end his career and destroy his life," investigators said.

The documents also contain details about how Burke and Rivas allegedly met when she was only 11 years old in 2022.

Investigators claim that the two began a sexual relationship in November 2023, when she was 13 and Burke was 18.

Well before her alleged murder, Rivas had reportedly been reported missing by her family in February 2024.

At this point, detectives uncovered a phone number in her phone belonging to Burke, according to the documents.

Burke claimed he was unaware that she was a minor or had been reported missing when detectives first made contact with him.

The documents state that Rivas' family confiscated her phone once she was located, yet Burke continued to pursue her despite having been informed she was under age.

Burke allegedly drove to Rivas' hometown of Lake Elsinore and paid a fellow student $1,000 to hand Rivas a phone Burke had bought so that the pair could continue to communicate.

Text messages retrieved by detectives suggest the two continued to engage in a sexual relationship.

Burke appeared in court on Wednesday, April 29, where his attorney raised concerns about the alleged evidence being made public.

This comes after reports emerged last week that a "significant" quantity of child pornography was allegedly discovered during a search of Burke's iPhone.

Investigators revealed they had gathered 40 terabytes of data throughout an extensive investigation.

The Los Angeles County Coroner's Office confirmed that the 14 year old died from "multiple penetrating injuries".

Rivas' dismembered body was found on September 8, 2025, in the boot of a Tesla belonging to Burke.

Her cause of death was not formally established until December 8, 2025.

Burke was charged with first-degree murder with special circumstances. Those special circumstances included lying in wait, murder of a witness to an investigation, and murder for financial gain.

He was additionally charged with lewd and lascivious sexual acts with an individual under 14 years old, as well as the mutilation of human remains.

The special circumstance of murder of a witness to an investigation relates to Rivas having been a witness in the lewd-and-lascivious investigation.

Authorities have stated that the financial gain element relates to Burke's belief that allegations of sexual relations with a minor had the potential to devastate his music career.

Burke is presently being detained at the notorious twin towers jail in the heart of Los Angeles.
