King Charles III And Queen Camilla State Visit Continues In Washington DC

Vladimir Putin’s propaganda machine twisted King Charles' speeches in Washington to insist he called for the US to prepare for war with Russia.

In fact, Charles III didn’t name Russia but did urge strong backing for Ukraine to ensure peace.

The monarch highlighted in his speech to Congress how America and Britain had stood “for more than a century, shoulder to shoulder, through two World Wars, the Cold War, Afghanistan and moments that have defined our shared security.

“Today, Mr. Speaker, that same, unyielding resolve is needed for the defence of Ukraine and her most courageous people – in order to secure a truly just and lasting peace.”

The parroting propaganda media in Moscow saw this as a call for World War Three -- a full-scale Western war with Russia.

But Putin’s favourite newspaper, Komsomolskaya Pravda, told its readers: “Charles called on the US to prepare for war with Russia and activate Article 5 of NATO.”

Moskovsky Komsomolets said the king urged “preparing for war with Russia.”

The Russian defence ministry’s TV channel Zvezda headlined an online story: “British king urged the US to prepare for war with Russia.”

War commentator, Aleksei Zhivov, accused Charles of calling for “a unified Western defence of Ukraine, and de facto for war with Russia”.

He claimed the monarch's words showed Britain "continues to drag the ‘global democrats’ into a major conflict with Russia — and it will achieve its goal….

“A major war with the West awaits us, and the longer we delay, the more difficult the entry conditions will be, and the less public opinion will accept this war.

“We need to deal with Ukraine now, while Europe is not yet ready for a long war with us.”

Pro-Putin ultranationalist TV Tsargrad shared a similar script.

“Charles III delivered an openly militaristic speech to the US Congress,” it said.

“The monarch called on the American government to prepare for war with Russia to defend Ukraine and ‘its courageous people’.

“For added effect, he reminded the congressmen how the British and Americans had fought shoulder to shoulder in two world wars, the Cold War, and Afghanistan. Congress responded with a thunderous ovation.”

The outlet concluded: “The British Crown is still trying to get ahead of the game in whipping up Russophobic war hysteria.”

A similar trope came from Russian state media war reporter Andrey Rudenko who repeated the line that Charles "called on America to prepare for war with Russia”.

The West is using the war with Ukraine to weaken Russia after which they will attack and beat Putin’s forces, according to this conspiracy theory.

“This Satanist [Charles] is calling for preparation for the main attack.

“All these years, they've been weakening us with the war in Ukraine, and when they realise we're sufficiently weakened, they'll attack us like jackals from all sides.”

War channel Two Majors claimed Charles went to Congress to “apologise” for Britain’s failure to help Donald Trump with the Iran conflict - but also to plead for American help against Russia.

“The costumed clown [Charles], calling himself a king, even endured the humiliation of the huckster Trump (who, in a breach of etiquette, patted the old man on the shoulder like a poor wretch) so that he could implore the US elite to support the European military alliance in the war against Russia.”

The propaganda was repeated by Nevolfovich Telegram channel.

“1946. Winston Churchill's speech in Fulton, California, marked the beginning of the Cold War.

“2026. Charles III openly called for preparations for war with Russia in the US Congress. The British monarch received a standing ovation.”

The narratives are in line with a Kremlin version that Britain is the main Western cheerleader for Ukraine, whipping up allies to block Putin’s path to restoring the ex-Soviet republic to Moscow’s sphere.
