Drivers on the M20 are facing rush hour traffic chaos after a huge crash sparked four-mile queues and delays of around 45 minutes. The eastbound section of the major motorway is closed between J8 (Hollingbourne) and J9 (Ashford) after a crash this morning (December 16).
A van struck the nearside barrier, which sparked a large oil spillage covering some 100 metres of the carriageway. Emergency services rushed to the scene. They treated a man there before taking him to hospital for treatment. National Highways has warned drivers to expect delays to their journeys.
