The Kremlin claimed on Monday to have received no official information on the Ukraine peace talks taking place in Geneva. There are also no plans for Russian and US delegations to meet this week, it adds in an update.
"No, we have not received any information [on the talks] yet," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov says.
"Of course, we are closely monitoring the media reports that have been abundant over the past few days, including from Geneva. But officially, we have not received anything yet."
It comes amid signs Britain and Europe forced some concessions into the 28-point US peace proposal.
Chief Ukrainian negotiator Andriy Yermak called the meeting “very productive” and thanked Donald Trump for his efforts “to bring this peace.”
United States and Ukraine said in a joint statement after the talks that they had drafted a "refined peace framework," although they did not provide specifics.
A telephone call between Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish president, is planned for today, Mr Peskov adds.
Erdogan is to propose Istanbul as a location for Russia-Ukraine talks, according to Turkish media.
